Each day consists of six activity experiences with time a rest hour (we call "Chill Time") before dinner. We also offer day trips, excursions, and special events that campers and staff create. There is also built-in time to play, be social, discover, relax, design, laugh, and breathe. By the end of their session(s), they are proud to share their creations with fellow campers, friends, and family. We offer (and continue to evolve) activities and experiences to promote self-expression, grow self-esteem, and build a foundation for lifelong creativity as they develop as young humans.
Situated on 50 acres within peaceful, natural surroundings in the Maine woods, Camp Med-o-lark is the ideal setting for personal expression and ensemble collaboration. Our camp is located on a gorgeous lakefront property that also houses a historic farm, creating a magical village that awakens the senses like few places can. Every camper is a valued and important member of our community and we look forward to building a long term relationship with your family. It begins with an emphasis on inclusivity and kindness, parents and campers can feel a unique sense of community the moment they arrive. And because kids learn better when they are relaxed and having fun, we make sure that they are growing in ways and developing new skills more effectively than they could at home, in school, or through organized sports.
